1) I use “we” in a lot of emails and posts but I’m (mostly) a one-woman team! I have an awesome virtual assistant who works about 5 hours a week. Otherwise everything from product development to customer service is all me (Walker, hi, nice to meet you!)
2) All of our products are certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny. And it is my hope by the end of 2025 to secure a few other certifications that help you feel-good about choosing OAP. Leaping Bunny certification means we are evaluated by a third party and found to have no animal testing on any of our ingredients or finished product. We go through recertification every year.
3) When we first launched our polishes had skinny brushes. But I quickly switched to our easy-apply fan brush and we’ll never go back
4) A little more than 40% of currently active OAP polishes are blue or green (and I don’t plan on stopping there!). They're my favorite colors to wear so they often show up in new collections! See all our blues and greens here.
5) OAP donates 1% of profits to Postpartum Support International (PSI) which works to provide parents and providers with postpartum mental health resources. We've always donated 1% to nonprofits working to build a better world but in 2025 we solidified our support behind postpartum mental health after I learned first hand how crucial supporting new parents is after the birth of my son.
