In 2018, as a busy high school administrator, I decided to celebrate the start of a school break with a manicure. Every day after, seeing my nails brought me joy—a small and colorful reminder to prioritize myself. Painting my nails quickly became a self-care moment in my week that I couldn’t live without.

But as my love for painting my nails grew, so did my concerns. What was in the polish I was using? Were the ingredients safe? Did it align with my values of supporting small businesses and cruelty-free products?

That’s why I created Olive Ave Polish—to make nail care easy, joyful, and something you can feel good about.
